UPSC IAS 2017: Important Dates-Application-Form

The Union Public Service Commission has issued the notification regarding IAS Exam 2017. The IAS 2017 online form has been started from 22nd February. Who are interested to take IAS Pre Exam 2017, can apply till 17th March 2017. Most Indians have dream to become IAS. Most want to become IAS. IAS is considered as a respectful job. UPSC IAS Recruitment 2017 Important Dates:

Starting dates of Application Form Submission- 22nd February 2017
Last date to fill the Application Form- 17th March 2017
Date of IAS Pre Exam 2017- 18th June 2017
Date of IAS Mains Exam 2017- 28th October 2017

How To apply for IAS Recruitment 2017:

Visit the official website of UPSC, upsconline.nic.in
Click on “Online Application for Various Examinations”.
Go for “Part-I” Registration.
Read all instructions carefully and satisfy the norms by clicking on the yes button.
Fill the required details in Application form.
Make sure, your details are correct and factual.
Submit the form.
Now you will get a unique registration ID. Note it.
Now click on Part-II Registration and log in with that unique registration ID.
Make the payment through the Bank DD/Cash/Challan
Fill all other necessary and choose an Examination Center and Medium (Hindi/English/Other).
Upload softcopy of your recent passport size photograph.
Before submission, re-read the details carefully.
Tick the check box for your agreement to the declaration.
Take the print-out for future preferences.

UPSC IAS Pre 2017 Application Form Fee:

Unreserved Category Candidates have to pay 100 Rs as application fee. And no application fee is required for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification for IAS Exam 2017:

The candidates should have a degree from a govt. Recognized university or its equivalent.

Age Limits and Number Of Attempts for IAS:

A candidates should be minimum 21 years old and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August 2017. And upper age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per rules and regulations of UPSC.

A General Category candidates can attempt IAS Exam at most 6 times. While OBC category candidates have 9 attempts . No attempt restriction for SC/ST category.
